What to Expect

We have a campsite designated for our gathering. We’re asking everyone to meet there starting at 2pm. The ceremony location is a short walk down a forest trail to the lake. Alternatively, you can park at the day parking lot above the boat launch or be dropped off closer to the beach - ask us for more info!

The ceremony will be a simple, casual gathering on a sandy beach. We hope you like long walks on a beach, mountain views, and cool Fall afternoons because, weather providing, the ceremony will be approximately 150’ north of the boat launch along the sandy beach. In the event of rain we’ll pivot to a more sheltered area but we will still be outdoors.

We love you, but don’t dress-up for us, please dress for camping and the wild outdoors. We want you to be warm and comfortable.

After the ceremony Jill and Amy will take the opportunity to take some photos while our guests go back to camp to enjoy some snacks and mingling. The remainder of the day will consist of a campfire, dinner, games, and banter. The campground quiet time is 10pm, and for those not staying on site please remember that the gates also close at this time.

Please bring your own camp chair for around the fire. If you have any allergies or food preferences, please let us know. Alcohol will not be provided.

No gifts please – just your company!
